Mom's Birthday 2010

March 5, 2010

For Mom's birthday we spent the day shopping at the Lake Elsinore Outlet Mall and then went to dinner at Red Robin in Chino Hills. It was fun, we window shopped and bought a bunch of stuff also! Mom got a game for the Wii, Miniature Golf. I bought her a shirt and some earrings. After dinner we went home and played the the new wii game with Grandma, who really enjoyed kicking my dads butt. It was a great day that ended with a delicious cake that I made for her!

Miniature Golf and a Small Party

January 30th 2010,

We got the chance to hang out with Lacie & Jesse (kid free) on this lovely Saturday night, however we also had a birthday party to attend. We dragged them with us and although it was not the most comfortable place for my best friends to go- they did it anyway. They were troopers with the whole plan and we arrived at Molly's party on time and hung out for a little while before calling it quits around midnight. Ya- we are rock stars we hung out until ALMOST midnight. LOL. Although they may have been awake until 4 am praying for the people in the club. haha. I love them! Earlier in the night we decided to go miniature golfing and it was some of the most fun we've had together in a long time. I believe Garrett & Jesse won. But that is only because Lacie and I didnt want to hear them cry about it all night. Here are some classic pictures.

Lacie couldn't look more uncomfortable
Garrett is the small head above the building and its slightly scary.

Grammy Foundations, Cue the Music

January 28th, 2010,

Somehow, I got an invitation to buy tickets to see Jason Mraz in Los Angeles and the tickets were reasonably prices so we decided to go. What I didn't realize was that it was this big deal in LA. The Grammy Foundation puts this event on every year to bring awareness to what the foundation does for artists and the community. It was awesome! Colbie Calliat sang with Jason Mraz a few songs and then they had Patrick Monohan the lead singer from Train, Melanie Fiona, and The Fray sang "How to Save a Life" and "You Found Me." I was basically in shock as these artists one by one came out on stage, it was freakin' AWESOME!

Rose Parade 2010

January 2, 2010

I love the ROSE PARADE! Let me say it again I LOVE THE ROSE PARADE! I always have, I don't know what it is about it. As a little girl my dad would work on the floats every year and I always wanted to go and help, but I was "toooo" little. I remember being so bummed, but I would wait in anticipation for January 1st so I could see them on TV. I think they are truly works of art, brilliant in color and magnificent in size. It seems to me like no one really cares, but its something that I get pretty excited about each year.

CHRISTMAS 2009

December 24-December 25,

Christmas Rocks! We get to celebrate it two days! My family has always celebrated it on Christmas eve and Garrett's family the "normal" way on Christmas day. Although, I am strongly for Christmas eve Christmas's, I do enjoy day two as well. Here are some pictures that capture a tiny glimpse of those magical days.

Catch up time again! Christmas 2009

December 22, 2009

We have gone to the Balian Ice Cream house every year since sophomore year of high school....12 years ago. :) This year we decided to drive down Christmas Tree Lane also. I don't think I've been before and if I have been, I don't remember it ever. It was really fun and we enjoyed just driving around and looking at all the christmas lights in Hastings Ranch and Sierra Madre.
